poker2.jpgAt the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City an argument broke out between two poker players who continued the argument outside the casino in the valet area. A fight ensued between the two, and one player died from knife wounds inflicted upon him by the other. The official police report places the time of the incident at 2:46 p.m on Saturday April 5.

The argument is said to have begun when a player left his seat at a $1/$2 game in order to get more money to play with. While he was gone, his seat was given to another player and when the first player returned to the table the argument began.
Vicente Perez, a 57-year old man from Georgia was arrested by police and charged with aggravated manslaughter, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Bond has been set for Mr. Perez at $500,000.
