The schedule for the 2009Aussie Millions tournament series has now been released, and once again the schedule is chock full of exciting events. The 2009 Aussie Millions will commence on January 4th, 2009 and run to its conclusion on January 26th, when the Main Event will conclude and the Australian 2-Card Manila Championship will take place.
There are 18 championship events on the schedule, and five days of satellite event and non-championship tournaments will open up action at the Aussie Millions before the first championship event begins on January 4th. The AUD $10,500 Main Event always attracts a lot of players. Gus Hansen is a prior winner of the Main Event as is Alexander Kostritsyn, who won the event in 2008. The Main Event will start on January 19th and run for a week, while including three starting days.
