Players who wish to pre-register for any of the WSOP events may do so by going to the cashier’s cage at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas or by visiting the official WSOP website, www.worldseriesofpoker.com.

The World Series of Poker will boast 55 different events this year, and will being on May 30th and go until the end of the Main Event final table on July 16th. All 55 events are open for pre-registration and players may pre-register anytime from now until two weeks before the start of an event. Players may download entry forms from the WSOP website and mail or fax the completed forms to the Rio. The forms are in PDF format, so you will need to have Adobe Acrobat on your computer to view the entry forms. Once the entry forms and payment have been received, players will just need to show proof of their identity in person at the Rio before the beginning of the event in order to complete their registration. As in previous years, payment can be made in cash, cashier’s check, wire transfer, or Rio casino chips.

The WSOP tournament director, Jack Effel, has said that many positive comments have been made about the WSOP schedule and says players should pre-register early in order to guarantee themselves a seat in the events. There will be no alternates for the events, which makes it imperative for players to pre-register early.
